Job Description

ACI Materials is seeking an experienced Production Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of high performance electronic materials (inks and pastes) and aerospace coatings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the scale-up and production of ACI Materials’ product offerings in flexible electronics, wearables, advanced industrial coatings, and composites. The position will report to the
Chief Operations Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  • Estimating costs and preparing budgets
  • Organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Ensuring an efficient manufacturing schedule that consistently meets customer requirements and ACI quality standards
  • Enforcing heath and safety measures
  • Maintaining all necessary records to determine our internal process capabilities and process windows for each product
  • Maintenance of production equipment
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience as production manager (3-5 years preferred)
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
  • BSc in chemical engineering, materials science or related fields is preferred

Job Description

Applied Cavitation is seeking a senior polymer engineer/chemist to contribute to new product development, existing product improvement and both internal and external technical support. The ideal candidate should be a creative, entrepreneurial and passionate technical expert in the field of the applied polymer chemistry and synthesis. Applied Cavitation is seeking formulation expertise to expand our product offerings in flexible electronics, wearables, advanced industrial coatings, and composites. This position will report to the Chief Technology Officer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive product improvement activities related to internal and external requests.
  • Ensure products meet industry standards and meet or exceed competitive offerings.
  • Work closely with the other functional managers to understand immediate customer and long erm market needs.
Key Requirements
  • MS/Ph.D polymer science or equivalent with structure-property skill set is strongly desired.
  • Strong knowledge and formulation experience especially in epoxy, urethane, polyesters, acrylics, silicones, polyamides, polyimides, and water-based systems.
  • Must be hands on in addition to having strong planning and project management skills to assure that both urgent and longer term projects are completed.
  • Entrepreneurial in nature, able to work independently as part of a technical team that is supporting a dynamic sales organization.
  • Technical leadership skills including DOE, and quality management systems such as ISO and 6 sigma methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to support the business leadership team in managing the overall enterprise, within a flexible small company environment.

Job Description

ACI Materials is searching for an experienced Production Technician to manufacture high performance electronic materials (inks and pastes) and specialty aerospace coatings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the production of ACI Materials’ product offerings in flexible electronics, wearables, advanced industrial coatings, and composites. This position will report to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Follow all internal health and safety measures
  • Perform product preparation (weigh out of chemicals per the specified work order and perform  pre-manufacturing stages) per the SOP’s
  • Following training on our unique manufacturing/process tool, take responsibility for the production  of the respective materials per our SOP’s for each product
  • Perform preventative maintenance on process tool as specified
Key Requirements
  • Excellent Communication skills required
  • Good Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a Team
  • Good mathematical skills• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office required; Fluency in other software skills/programs an asset
  • Minimum two (2) years experience working in a production environment; chemical industry preferred
  • Minimum high school diploma (post high school education in one of the sciences such as an  Associate or Bachelor’s degree a plus)
