ACI Materials uses a patented cavitation process to create superior materials for printed electronics. Cavitation is the rapid creation and implosion of micro-bubbles that allow for higher dispersion rates than traditional mixing. This automated process creates greater batch-to-batch consistency without damaging the functional inks. The inks created by cavitation can stretch and flex without failing, which makes them ideal for wearable applications.
Here, ACI Materials’ products manager Andrew Bambach discusses the benefits of stretchable inks at TechBlick’s Innovations Festival. These advantages include superior stretchability, washability, and durability.
